territory for which a jurisdictional entity has the power to define rules of behaviour

Specializations of jurisdictional area¶

|---|---|
| campus | jurisdictional area with a jurisdictional entity who is the owner of the area but excluding transport facilities managed by the local government |
| governmental area | transport-related, jurisdictional area whose only jurisdictional entities are governmental entities |
