Note 1 to entry: An ITS architecture can be a reference, planning or deployment architecture [deployment architecture.md].
Note 2 to entry: The Architecture Reference for Cooperative and Intelligent Transportation (ARC-IT; see Reference [25]) is an example of an ITS reference architecture.
